Devendra Borikar, B.Eng, M.Sc., M.A.Sc., P.Eng.

Technology Demonstration & Research Specialist

As a graduate assistant in the University of Windsor, Mr. Borikar taught courses in drinking water treatment and distribution systems to fourth year environmental engineering students for 2 years.  Mr. Borikar worked as an executive engineer for 13 years at the Gujarat Water Supply.  He also worked as a senior training officer for more than 3 years in Gujarat Jalseva Training Institute (India).  

Devendra Borikar provides assistance in everyday operations of the Technology Demonstration Facility.  He is also a team member for research projects conducted by the Centre.  Mr. Borikar has been part of the team that set up the Centre's Technology Demonstration and Research facility. 

Devendra Borikar holds a M.A.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Windsor, a master's degree in Sanitary Engineering from IHE (Delft, Netherlands) and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Gujarat University (India).

Mr. Borikar is a registered professional engineer in Ontario and a member of the American Water Works Association, Ontario Water Works Association and Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.
