The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (the Centre) is developing an information clearinghouse for scientific and technical information that responds to the needs of drinking water system owners, operators, and operating authorities, as well as professionals in the drinking water industry and the general public.
Resources available in the Centre's library
The Centre's library is comprised of up-to-date books, research reports, journals, and audiovisual materials published by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, the American Water Works Association, the Water Research Foundation, the National Drinking Water Clearinghouse, and world-class specialists and practitioners in the field.
Library resources encompass a range of topics and are grouped into the following categories: design; distribution, operations and maintenance; management and finance; outreach and education; research; source water protection; water treatment.

To access library resources
The public is welcome to use the Centre's library resources for reference from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; individuals who wish to use the library should contact the Education & Outreach Coordinator for details. With the exception of a limited number of scientific articles, photocopying materials is not permitted. Borrowing materials is not possible due to the limited number of copies.
