Visits or Tours

The Walkerton Clean Water Centre provides free tours of the Technology Demonstration Facility, offering general on-site information and operator training, for drinking water operators, organizations in the water quality sector, and professional groups.

Tours for high-school students

The Centre also provides tours for high-school students. Each high-school visit is 1.5 hours in length and includes, in addition to a tour of the Technology Demonstration Facility, a video introducing the Centre and a presentation summarizing career opportunities in the drinking water industry. Ideally, the group size should be no more than 25, including teachers and volunteers. The ratio of teachers to students is left to the discretion of the school.
